Children visiting Global Water Sustainability Center

Come to the Water Visitor Center at the Global Water Sustainability Center (GWSC) and learn how water defines the past and guides the future of Qatar. Visit the interactive, hands-on exhibits and a mysterious wall made of fine water droplets than can be altered by hand movement. Discover the global water challenges and where does Qatar's water come from, listen to stories from GWSC experts on how they became engineers/scientists, and learn about water conservation and the work being conducted at the GWSC.

Contact the water visitor center coordinator at 4409-4700 to inquire about reservations or logistics.

Hours: Sunday through Thursday, 9 a.m.–2 p.m.

Guidelines: There is no charge for admission to the center, but we require all bookings at least two weeks in advance. Full names of all the visitors as well as other logistical information must be sent to the GWSC at: gwsc@conocophillips.com. Please feel free to contact us for any inquiries.

Please plan on being on site for at least two hours, inclusive of entering Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), registration, safety overviews and the tour.

Group size: Maximum tour size is 30. Tours for individuals will be arranged by invitation only.

Chaperones:
• Students age 9–13: one adult (minimum) to five students.
• Students age 14–18: one adult (minimum) to ten students.

Parking is available at QSTP for cars and buses. Further information will be provided upon reservation confirmation.

Food and drink are not allowed in the Water Visitor Center.
